One of the best Hard-Rock/Metal albums released in recent times

For me mastodon have always been about the insanely catchy/heavy moments, but they never fully did justice to those moments with their songwriting imho.

But with this album theyve just nailed it... everything is perfect

I`ll be buying it shortly. The new Isis is very good also, but for me the metal album of the year has already been decided: Blut aus Nord - Memoria Vetusta II: Dialogue with the Stars. Not for everyone but it is spectacular.

Haven't gotten around to listening to it yet...will pop down to their myspace page and give it a listen... definitely get your hands on crack the skye though, it gets better and better with every listen

I`ll probably download it, but that kind of Post Metal niche begins and ends with Rosetta for me. Awesome band.
