Dunno if anyone else has posted on this as of yet, a few media outlets are linking us with a move for Martin De Roon of Middlesbrough.....

Not seen much of him myself, can't say I heard anything good about him either.
 
He stood out the few times I watched Boro, lots of energy and interceptions, although they rarely had the ball last season so it's difficult to judge what he would be like in a team with more possession. Would probably be decent midfield cover, there seems to be more stories linking him with a move back to Atalanta so I doubt there's anything in this.
 
Sounds like the link has been based on mourinho saying he was a terrific player after we played them. Aitor karanka told jose he was a good player as well. Pretty tenuous at best.
