Seeing as the Emre Mor-thread was a huge success in jinxing the scousers; let's do it again. Six hrs from starting the thread til he had signed for Dortmund lel.

I present to you the next Pelé Bebé:

Marlos Moreno
Was instrumental in helping his Atlético Nacional win the league. This forward (left/right/center) came on to the world scene at the Libertadores where he scored 3 and assisted 3 in 9 games. Cue the rumors. PSG reportedly showed their interest first. Liverpool followed. Then Atlético. Also linked to Leverkusen, Inter, Porto, Benfica etc. Made his debut for Colombia this year, has 3 caps so far and is in their squad at the Copa. So yeah, hopefully he doesn't signed for Pool now.

15/16 highlights:

Colombia debut where he came off the bench for the remaining 5 mins and assisted the winning goal:

I thought that was how it worked. Wasn't trying to be condescending.
No problemo. Guess i just interpreted it differently. If so, let's hope there can be an exception. After all, it's for jinxing the scousers :)

It's in the transfer forum, does everyone here need to be linked to Utd?

I don't think it is has to be linked to United, however from the sticky with the rules:
  • Do not create threads for players unless you can provide a source. If there's no source then you're simply discussing a footballer, so go to the Football Forum instead

Alright, shall add to OP.

The guy who impressed me from this team is Ibarguen

At this point I take what he says as gospel, still have basically no idea who the kid is but from the highlights he looks pretty impressive.

I take full credit for Utd's supposed interest in him.

Is he any good?
Pure youtube+articles scouting this one, i have only watched him play about 5 mins

A few that saw him start in Colombia's last game said he wasn't anything special. They had changed their whole team and he scored.

He's certainly hot on the market. Most top clubs are after him. He's probably raw, a move to a smaller club to begin with might be the smart move here.

A few new clubs seems to have shown interest very recently..:

During his TV show "Calciomercato- L'Originale" our editor in chief Gianluca Di Marzio wraps things up with a flurry of transfer news to recap the main stories of the day. Now that he's providing expanded coverage during the EURO we're glad to post a flurry of news concerning teams outside of Serie A:

In the Copa America Marlos Moreno is making a name for himself- the striker born in 1996 could be heading to England where Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City are interested. Acquiring him would cost around €10 million, he's a player that Inter pursued in the past.

Scored a fantastic goal against Costa Rica, but still, he wasn´t that impressive. He needs a start on the first team and 90 minutes with James, Cuadrado and Cardona

Bet this guy will be great on the next FM, then the views on this thread will be in the Embolo numbers. But then again, he'll probably sign for some club this summer.

Apparently he's been excellent in the Copa Liberatores. Impressing in that competition with serious underdogs should be a good indicator also. Saying that, Balanta was supposed to be the next Passarella so....who knows! Although playing with Ibarbo has probably helped him, everything I've read about him has been top notch. Who's a better prospect though , Gabriel Jesus or Moreno?

If he's the player I'm thinking of, I'd say he's been good but nothing special so far.

Can Marlos be a win?

For some reason his name reminds me of some jumbled up players name you'd come across on Pro Evo because they didn't have the proper rights.

Yeah, with Atletico Nacional in the Libretadores is where he is breaking out. We´re just getting to know him here in Colombia. He needs more time in the Colombian side, that´s all, which is hard to crack at the moment.

I've been following him for the best part of a decade. Pure talent. Need to get in there ASAP.

He's only 19 and you've been following him that long?

Sounds an interesting prospect although never seen him play

Nah man, it's been a Caf joke about all our armchair scouts, who supposedly, when linked to any (relatively) unknown player, are all of a sudden experts on said player after a few youtube clips.

Ahhh, thanks for the clarification

Vickery sang his praises back in March

So is he being signed by anyone? I couldn't bear city having a good Colombian player.
