I think the big problem with what Amorim said is that he's thinking about this like someone who cares about giving a shit about something. "Oh, he's saying I'm shit. I'll prove him wrong" etc.
In reality I think Rashford doesn't care. He'll take the money and just talk, talk, talk about how great he is. Because words are easy and low effort. We've all met blaggers like him.
The "willing to play for the team" / "willing to work with Amorim" brief was the final straw for me. That's a curated phrase, he and his team thought about those words. He's not in a position to be "willing" to do anything. He's a United player, being paid £350k a fecking week, and the manager is the boss.
