Manhunt II

Drive up north and get it.

Barred in Britain too. It's ridiculous that they would ban it, not for their reasoning, but for their actions. Fair and square they have sufficient weight to ban it, but they didn't need to ban it. They could have arranged for the game to be edited. On top of all this.....what happens when the public can't get their hands on something banned ? Well it's obvious.......they end up wanting it more.

The Irish Independent have published that customs have the right to carry out random checks for the game coming from places like play.com. It's completely stupid because sooner or later there will be burnt and cracked copies floating about and any kid that wants to play it will have the chance to

Agreed. I now want to play it to see what the fuss is about. The first one was quite decent.

Point proven. Stupid decision, stupid law. Anyone who wants a copy will get one. Simple

And yes the 1st one was good. Good level of suspense involved.

I find it funny they have Manhunt 2 out on the Wii. Feckin class. Now you can actually learn the moves, not just click X twice followed by triangle

All you have to do is have your copy from www.play.com sent to a mate's gaf in a country that doesn't have the ban. He can then post it over to you. Get him to buy you a new shirt and post the game over inside the shirt. Win win

Do you think customs would actually bother checking each package that come from play.com?

I have played the first one, thought it was a good game. I find it very stupid , why they can ban a game. It is my life if I want to play that game I should be able too.

It is to protect the teens. Not a very effective way though.

Yeah, I understand that. You hear stories of people coping the actions of the game. But people who do that it isnt because of the game they most have something wrong with them to start off with.

Well no, because they are afraid that you are going to play the game and then go out and gruesomly kill a load of randomers who happen to be wearing creepy masks.

I completely agree, and if the game doesn't get them then acid (or some other hardcore drug) will. Sooner or later they'll crack, do something feckin mental and get locked up for it. They're ticking time bombs and I don't see why I should have to suffer for some maniac who thinks that a game justifies sticking a feckin knife in someone's eye-socket

I dont think that is going to happen tho. I understand a game like that could be a trigger for someone too do that, but it isnt the cause, people who do things like that already have mental problems.

Yeah, its not really something that a really care about, I do believe people are born with phycological problems then someting will happen in thier life will tigger it, be that stress, drugs or even playing a computer game.

I agree with that and bans wont make help either. They never do-

Definitely don't help. Folk will get the game if they want it, and bans increase the appeal. I doubt RockStar give a flying feck about the ban. It might just be the hysteria they need

the ban doesn't help.
it's always up to the parents...
