Good ol' Nigel Hair and his immortal Havers.

Well played Madhed. We generally frown on WUMish threads here but this one was amusing.

Is that Gail from Coronation St? I used to fancy her a little bit when I was around 12 or 13. Obviously she wouldn't have a chance with me now. I'm a sex tank.

You must be the only one in the world to do so. Everyone else thinks she as a face hit with an iron.

That's funny cause last night a friend on facebook was tagged in some photos of Gail Platt with her knockers out.

Thought he was rubbish again. When he doesn't play as a bog standard midfielder in a 2 man midfield, he doesnt really contribute anything. Definitely not enough to be one of the attacking roles

He isn't a AM tbh.

Should play in between a DM and AM, imo.

Don't get why Mourinho bought him to use him like he is doing.

He wanted a more defensively sound attacking midfielder to play in Classico's and big Champions League games instead of Ozil who he doesn't trust in those games. Modric can also play alongside Ozil and Alonso when Real are at the Bernabeu against bottom half teams and if Ozil needs a rest etc..

It's all a pretty sound plan really, Modric just kind of ruined it all by playing shite.

Yeah, he's been Oddly shite since he has gone there. Strange one. Real seems to do that to some players.

But still that role really doesn't suit him.

Meh, he was overrated in the first place. Spurs have been more than fine without him. They're probably a better team since he left. People slated me when I said Dembele would be a more than adequate replacement for Modric. I'd say he's been more effective, if anything.

Was never going to be good enough for Madrid.

Seems a little harsh. He's clearly a good CM. As for being a better defensive option than Ozil, well he makes slightly more tackles but we're talking 1.1 instead of 0.8 so it really seems like splitting hairs well you're talking about 1 tackle. And obviously the difference in creativity in the final third is a lot so clearly not worth it. And Madrid are a counterattacking team and Ozil breaking with the ball is one of their most effective ways to do it. Replacing him with a more defensive player seems counter intuitive. If you want more defensive solidarity replace Khedira with someone who is going to sit in position on the half way line instead of get forward like a madman as much as possible like he does.
