Watford Football Club (nicknamed The Hornets, The Golden Boys, Yellow Army, and The 'Orns) are a professional football club based in Watford, Hertfordshire; and were founded in 1881 by eventual player Henry Groverand as Watford Hornets, originally an amateur team that turned fully professional in 1897. After spending almost half century in the lower divisions of The Football League, Watford enjoyed its greatest era of success following Graham Taylor's appointment in 1977, rising from the Fourth Division to the First Division. The team also finished second in the First Division in the 1982/83 season, competed in the UEFA Cup in 1983/ 1984, and reached the 1984 FA Cup Final where they faced Howard Kendall's Everton. Watford's most prominent rivalry is with fellow South-Eastern English club Luton Town; and they have been playing their home games at Vicarage Road since 1922.

Same line up as Leicester with Martial in for Rashford please.

I hope Cleverley gets a nice reception.

Must win! This could finally be the gameweek we move up to 5th

I'd normally be so confident going into this kind of fixture, but recent results have burned me. We really need to go on a run of wins, particularly as we're not playing in the next round of fixtures.

And I'd really love to see Martial brought back into the side.

    What I want:
    De Gea
    Valencia Bailly Rojo Blind
    Herrera Pogba
    Mata Mkhitaryan Martial
    Ibrahimovic
No chance of Martial playing of course, so probably Lingard in for him. Or Rooney. Hopefully not Rashford. Also, don't really need Carrick here either, would prefer to have Miki playing in the midfield 3 and pushing forward. Also if Rojo is injured then Smalling for him of course.

Watford seem to have found a bit of form recelty so I don't expect a walk over. Am I right in saying we play before those above us this time round? If so a win puts us level on points with Arsenal which could have an impact on those above us.

Same old recipe: just focus on scoring that goal.

Not worried about defense as it will most likely hold with so many players in form.

    Arsenal have Hull at home
    Liverpool face Spurs at home
    City face Bournemouth away

There's potential there for at least 2 teams above us dropping points.

Niang and Deeney will be a handful, we need to starve them of service. I rate Niang highly.

    This please.

They're in decent form. Unbeaten in 5, beat Arsenal away and beat Burnley yesterday, who are no pushover. It will be a tougher game than today, for sure. Leicester just didn't give a shit. Hopefully today has filled the team with confidence.

    Tough one.

But lets avenge our defeat there.

And something, something.. Martial. Just to be in the tune.

    Team should be...

    -------------De Gea-------------
    Valencia--Bailly--Rojo--Blind
    -------Herrera----Pogba-------
    Mhkitaryan--Mata----Martial
    --------------Zlatan--------------

Subs: Romero, Smalling, Carrick, Fellaini, Rashford, Lingard, Rooney

Won't be easy and has another normal OT result written all over it

    Mkhi as 10.

We look like a team that will drop points if we don't score in the first half. For some reason, the longer the game goes, the easier it is to defend against us.

    This.

We made today easier for ourselves by scoring in the first half.

    DDG
    Valencia Bailly Rojo Blind
    Herrera Fellaini
    Mata Pogba Mkhi
    Zlatan

    For me

They will probably attack a bit which is better for us. We can't deal with teams who park the bus as shown on Wednesday.

Could well be an unchanged side for this one. I want to see Martial in for Rashford, but the manager has his reasons.

Hope Carrick is left out again or put in instead of Herrera. They will sit back and I don't see the point of the extra man in midfield as we are at home and need 3 points. Hope to see Martial as well but don't mind as long as we get 3 points

I'm expecting us to retain the same 11 for this game. But I would prefer Martial to come in for Rashford.

How good are they at sitting back defending with 11 players in their own box these days?

We need to win, we're off the back of a really good result, and it's a very winnable game.

    0-0 draw it is then.

After this game, we don't have another league game until Bournemouth at home - on Sat 4th March!! Vital we get a win.

We have the two Europa legs against St. Etienne, the FA cup tie with Blackburn, and the final with Southampton.

Crazy month coming up. Can't fecking wait.

We just need to score early goal, going into the half time with lead makes lot of difference.
I would play the same team or with Carrick in for Rashford.

This game is huge. Watford are in a good run of form. This is our last PL game till March!!!

it's massively important for us to get 3 points.

I'm starting to think most of our problems are actually at home. We seem to do ok away.

At home teams are sitting deep and Ibrahimovic is very isolated. If you look at the draws we've had at home. That's the issue, improving home form.
