No thread!!????
HT - 1-2 to spurs who are probably worth the lead. Who cares who scored for spurs? Them lot found themselves 2 up before Cofie got our goal. A very good 1-2 and a great finish. He also had a good effort prior to that which brought a good reflex save from their goalkeeper. Just before half time we should have got the equalizer with Tunnicliffe running through on goal only to skew his shot wide of the post from close in. Johnson pulled off a wondersave shortly after which would have made it 1-3. All to play for in the second half
FT 1-3 to spurs who deserved the win. We weren't really at the races aside from the odd moment here and there. In a bitty second half, Tunnicliffe gave away a rash penalty which the spurs striker finished with ease. That said, if the game had of been played for an additional 10 minutes, I feel we would have won the game 6-3 but time was not on our side. It finished. Thank God.
