They play open expansive football...which would work well with top class players (with their greater skill and ability).
The problem is that when you attempt to play open and expansive, with Championship players, in the EPL, they could be found out and that's what we are seeing today.
For the record, Leeds are mid table (not anywhere near the relegation zone), so once they have been in the EPL for a few seasons and have upgraded their players, this style of play will work.
