That is all true, but I would ask about maybe bringing in a striker who is already fit and doesn't need a few weeks, maybe a month, to trim down. Perhaps we should have looked outside of just players represented by the manager's agent and try to find someone who can come in and contribute immediately.

The reason we got him via Ole's connections was as a last resort as we were desperate.

And there weren't a huge amount of strikers available. Chelsea apparently wanted one and got nobody.
