Manchester United star Nani has emerged as a target for Italian giants Inter Milan and Juventus.

United, who are currently bracing themselves for the loss of striker Wayne Rooney, would surely want to keep hold of Nani who has possibly been their best player so far this season.

His recent form has attracted the attention of some of Europe's biggest clubs with Inter and Juventus preparing themselves for a transfer tug of war, according to reports in Italy .

Juve are ready to offer around £13m plus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon for the midfielder.

Such a deal could interest United because Edwin Van Der, 40 this month, has recently admitted he could retire as early as this summer.

Meanwhile, Rafa Benitez's Inter potentially hold all the aces in the form of United target Wesley Sneijder, who could also be used in a swap deal.

But the San Siro club are reportedly unwilling to offer the Dutch playmaker if they only get Nani in return.

feck off....

Just signed a new contract and he rejected Barcelona the season before last. I wont be surprised if he follows Ronaldo to Spain one day, but I get the feeling he wants to be one of the main men in a United title or champions league win or two before he leaves.

This is what happens with Rooney being a massive prick, all the other big clubs smell blood.

Just last night a friend of mine and I discussed how Nani would be the next BIG outward bound player (Rooney aside)

Rooney story, covered by universal press outlets.

Nani story, talksport.

It's clearly bollocks. Besides which, even if it had an element of truth (say they did want Nani) there's no way we'd sell him on top of the current Rooney debacle, with Valencia out with a broken leg, Giggs retiring soon.

Fifth in Italy and no Champions League Football.
£13m which would be more like 4 or 5 up front.
Buffon at 33.
Nani now showing regular consistency and proving his potential and we'd ahve to replace him.

Do they sound like the grounds on which we would be "interested"? At least put some effort in Talksport, we can do better than that on here.

Give it another year and he'll be at the 30million mark.

He's just starting to show his real talent and worth. He's staying with us, no way he's going.

If we sold off our entire 1st team squad, any chance we'd clear off our debt?! Probably not. We're screwed any which way you look at it.

Makes sense.

Clubs think United are weak. There is blood in the water and the sharks are circling waiting to pick us off.

If Wayne goes I feel that the next player SAF will look to build the squad around will be Nani. He's going nowhere (until Madrid come in for him in 2 years)

Yup Nani's our next gem. Seems pretty funny that we're all relying on him to produce the goods when less than a year ago half the caf wanted him sold :lol:

How things change in football eh?

You think thats fecked up, i read on here yesterday that Berbatovs now our next fans favourite! to think this place wanted him nailed to the cross and his pubic hair lanced about 2 months ago shows how quickly things change.

Funny isn't it. Its why football is so damn hard to predict. Who'd have thought 3 years ago that Shitty would be challenging for the league and Liverpool would be 19th? Who'd have thought Rooney would be on the brink of a transfer and we'd be relying on Nani and Berbatov. 2 of the most controversial hate figures on here.

We're not going to sell him, he's our last offensive player who's remotely close to world class in terms of creativity, it'd be a suicide if we ever sold him and would definitely drag us down.

I might ask Dr. Dwayne if he'll be so kind to shoot me.

Shit story, no one goes Serie A unless they're entering pension age.

Sell Nani and Rooney for a fortune and overhal the squad. Plenty of decent players available this summer.

I had a good read when Nani informed he visited OT and wished someday he were a United player...

But if the time comes and he wanted to pull a Ronaldo or if he wants to be a cnut like Rooney then I accept it... Only players that are truely from our youth have the most percentage to do a Giggsy/Scholes... I'm done with players that we bought...

So Nani is our main man now. Give him a lifetime contract if he wants and then even if he wants to go we can demand whatever the hell we want.
