If you were to pick a 26 man squad for the best players for Manchester United in the 90's, who would it be. You will have to think of it in terms of if the player had their best times at the club. An example of players that would not make it are Yorke, Cole, Sheringham because they have played at their peak at other clubs and it has nothing to do with trophies. So any ideas, please give me ideas as I have a few but I need feedback.

SCHMICHEAL - simply the best GK ever at UTD.
IRWIN - mr reliable, fantastic servant and player.
GAZ - see above a low profile vital part of the team
PALLISTER - awsome
STAM - as above shame it was so short
KANCHELSKIS - the perfect winger
KEANE - err do i really have to give a reason?
GIGGS - see KANCHELSKIS and step it up another level
HUGHES - more expolsive than guy forks
CANTONA - see KEANE
OLE - see IRWIN and GAZ

thats my first 11 i think its so hard to choose due to so much quality playing at OT over the last 10 years.

BECKS
SCHOLES
BUTT
COLE
BRUCE
SHARPE
ROBSON - more of an 80's man though.
JOHNSEN
INCE
BERG
MACLAIR
PHIL
PARKER

Well didn`t know that Veron, Barthez and Carroll played for us in the 90s.
The opinion that Veron and Kanchelskis did more for us than Robson or Beckham must be a joke anyway. :)

Agreed. How can Robson not be included, though I think Kanchelskis should be.

Strange selection that - Jordi in, Robson not....

I was going for logic more than who was the best player, ie i doubt Robbo was a roaring Left Winger. I know Jordi wasn't much of one, but, erm, on CM he could at least play there.

And Captain Marvel was better in the eighties anyway :p
