Ruud Van Nistelrooy took his Champions League goals tally to eight for the season as his double strike earned Manchester United a 2-0 victory over Deportivo La Coruna - their sixth straight win in all competitions.
The Dutchman scored early in each half to maintain United's 100 per cent winning record in Group D and top spot above Juventus.
Deportivo matched United for long periods of the first half after Van Nistelrooy's headed seventh minute opener, but once Van Nistelrooy had hammered home his 18th goal in 19 Champions League games, the match was over as a contest.
