Real Madrid midfielder Claude Makelele has demanded to know what his club's future plans are for him.
The French international is believed to have a two-year contract offer from Manchester United on the table and is also interesting Arsenal and Inter Milan.
He said yesterday: "I talked with the officials and it all depends on them.
"Now, if they want to part with me, I can't do anything about it.
"I know there are candidates, but, if I have the choice, I would prefer to stay in Madrid.
"All that I am asking for is to know the decision as soon as possible."
