It's always hard to say if a team is 'the best in the world' or not...

You might put the 11 most hot players at this time in the team, but it's not for sure that they'll work well together! - Eg. I find it strange if Keano and Anelka would fit... Keano would try to maintain his captain-role by yelling at Anelka when he get's his primadonna-facade on!

- And suddenly you'll see Analka leave anyway...

One word answer.........NO!!!!!....

For a start Ronaldo has hardly kicked a ball since The World Cup Final in 1998...

What's he done since?......Nothing......

The presence of Veron in our midfield obviously does not work for us, it squeezes Scholes out and Veron's actual effectiveness is at best negligible...

The midfield situation is obviously a question of balance and a midfield with Scholes in the middle is OBVIOUSLY more effective than with Veron there...

If this is the United Dream Team for next year that we're talking about then mine would be:
Casillas
Puyol Thuram Ayala Bridges
Becks Keane Scholes Giggs
RVN Henry

If you swap Henry for PDC to make it realistic, and sell Veron, and keep barthez, then the sums might add up and it would still have a very good chance of winning everything.
