Man of the match:
MAN OF THE MATCH: PHIL NEVILLE (MAN UTD)
Probably the best game of his Manchester United career. Mastered Patrick Vieira and one challenge in the second-half summed up his afternoon. Vieira was left in a heap on the floor, Neville walked away with the ball. It was that sort of day for the United man.

Brown completely nullified Henry's threat, which is a great achievement, in fact Wiltord and Bergkamp also couldn't get through our centre backs, stopping Arsenal's run of goal scoring games. Incredible. But Phil was still Man of the Match.

Are you doing this for every match Blythy?
Bloody good idea.

Cheers I nicked it from manutd.com
I can do it every match, or you can if I'm not around.

Yeah, how anyone could vote for Giggs is beyond me, but hey...
Phil got my vote - Vieira didn't know what hit him...

Manchester United, the team, every man of them, were my men of the match today. All the fight & determination that they showed against the scousers was there again, if anything even better. Fantastic.

That sums it up completely. The hunger was there for the entire 90 minutes from every player. Even Veron showed the commitment it will take to lift the PL Championship this season. Well done lads! It was the best match the club has played in some time: since probably the first leg of the CL QFs away to Deportivo.

Ole for me. Every time he touched the ball he looked extremely dangerous. Phil and Wes were both very close behind.

Ole and Giggs basically cancelled out any offence coming from Cole and Luhzny. Even though Giggs wasn't great, he does attract attention from every opposing defence and is always a threat if not guarded closely. Ole was superb!
