In years to come it'll be Diego I'll remember but I think it was Mickey, saved us again and again. And Fab for that save, which was just as good as it gets. But its unfair really to single out people after a committed display like that.
 
Brown, Gary, Silvestre, Scholes and Barthez (what a bloody save) were all Brilliant IMO.
The rest were very good too, special mention to Diego who played pretty deep but still managed to score 2.
I think Giggsy was a bit off his game in the first half but as the 2nd half went on he got better.
 
Gary Neville was fantastic today! Played an amazing game and won us the match. How many times did he win the ball?

Micky and Wes did also very well, as did Fortune IMO. Fortune was where he should be all the time, kept it very simple and kept wall when needed, we missed him when he went off.

Oh, and Diego. <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" />

Dudek deserves a mention too, I think. ;)

But Gaz is my man of the match.
 
gaza was a rock at the back and an inspiration, Never blamed him for the error at maine road. Was there ever a question he is a red and still one of the best defenders in england
 
Too hard to call. Gotta give kudos to Gary for playing on after that nasty injury. He is a red, and so was his fookin ankle <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" />

I still think Micky ws the MOM.
He's been superb for the last few games.
 
Mickey for his best ever game for us..I thought his play under pressure in the last 25 minutes was immense.
 
Has to be Gary Nev.. closely followed by Mickey, wes, John O'Shea, Scholesy .
 
They're all heroes but the ultimate accolade goes to Gary Neville, one of the most heroic performances I've seen from a United player in over 45 years of watching United - absolutely fantastic especially as he was booed from start to finish even when he was injured.
 
forlan did far more than just scorin' the goals - GN was great forlan was great fortune was great shite what a game side it was - 2nd half was MU's

OShea was outstanding,what a player,he is just as comfortable on the left as the right,the rest of the back four were outstanding also

he scored TWO goals at UNFILLED, take them away and we would NOT have won... so yes, he deserves to be one of the men of the match.. his contribution warrants a mention..


other than City, this is our biggest game, and for this reason, the fans, who already love him it has to be said, will never forget his two goals that won us the match.

They were all fantastic but Gary gets my vote. He was everywhere, determined to make up for the City game, got a really nasty gash on the leg but there was no way he was coming off. True Red through and through. What a great day! :D
 
Gary Neville without a shadow of a doubt. Did you see him at the end hugging Forlan after the final whistle?
