What do u guyz of think of Steed Malbranque and if he could do the job at RM for united? Maybe another raid of Fulham wouldn't be so bad......

Best right midfielder in the PL at the moment IMO. However, we need more of a true right winger (or left if we plan on keeping Ronaldo on the right) that takes on players and gives us a real attacking thrust down the side of the field. Malbranque is more of a play-maker like Scholes.

i am sure coleman won't be in the need to sell having sold his most prized asset to us already.

Our wingers play more as forwards and hed be perfect for the role, if he came here hed easily get 10 goals/20 assists, he manages as much at Fulham.

Great player a bit like scholesy IMO so dont know if he'd work out on the wing- better as an alternative to VDV.

He's become one of the worst players in the league for me. Might be a stretch to say but, he hasn't done anything of worth when I've caught Sunderland matches for the last 2 years or so.

How long has his goal drought gone on? Year and a half?

How can he be the worst in the league when there's Luis Boa Morte and that lump that plays up front for Stoke.

He's nowhere near being the one of the worst players in the league. He's not even the worst player in that Sunderland team. Bizarre Bump.

I used to really rate Malbranque in his Fulham days. He's still a tidy player but seems to have lost all of his end product.

Yeah, I used to go to watch a lot of Fulham games when they were based at Loftus Road. Steeeeeeeeeed was the man. Used to boss games for them. Doesn't seem to have progressed at all though. Gone backwards, if anything.

All he's done this season is miss absolute sitters. The one against us and a couple more. Even missed a penalty last night.

I was drunk and watching MOTD

Very much so. He was an excellent player at Fulham (although I may have went a bit overboard when I called him the best right midfielder in the league further up :nervous:). But he really did fail big time (considering the expectations) when he went to Spurs and now Sunderland. Disappointing because he was one of my favourite non-Utd players in the league back then.
