Mad as a cut snake

Must admit, couldn't stop lauging at that this morning.

I'd like to think it was mind games, but it sounds like we've got our very own Robson on our hands.

It wasn't long ago, he got the same two sides mixed up again. Its a bit worrying, I just hope Carlos knows who the feck we're playing.

hahahaha
oh god, it took me at least 20 minutes to clean the tears out of my eyes.

I can so see Fergie just sitting there thinking "well they all look the the f*cking same to me". They must've been quite offended. I mean hahah, can you imagine the shock he would have got if they had marched out onto the pitch against a completely different team to what he was expecting. Oh my god hahahahaahaha.

Oh thanks for that one mate. woo :D

Does make him look a bit of cnut doesn't it.

Nowt new then ;)

Maybe that's why Phil keeps getting a regular game, he thinks he's Gary.

I don`t think Sir Alex is losing it. Think about it. Much as football club managers in the top leagues live for their jobs, their jobs are mighty stressful.

One of the ways in which the mind copes with stress is forgetfulness. That is an inbuilt psychological mechanism so we human beings can live to fight our personal battles another day and not let worries overwhelm us. However, sometimes this is on over-drive and can occur when we simply have had enough stress and pressure.

Sir Alex has had continuous stress and pressure in the job for years. He is bound to make a few mistakes and a few slip ups over teams means nothing. He just wasn`t switched on fully.

Everyone has these moments and it doesn`t mean we are losing our marbles. However, I had to laugh and laugh about the comment regarding Phil! What a great theory - that Sir Alex thinks Phil is Gary and that is why he has been getting games.

But I like Phil no matter what anyone says - and he is a fantastically loyal player and TRUE RED. Good luck to him and his brother.

It was a daft oversight but, imo, it's an easy mistake to make. He mentioned before those comments that the coaching staff/squad had watched videos of both Haifa's games in the qualifying rounds.

His continued comments about Tel Aviv were probably his attempt at saying something nice about the opposition that he really knows feck all about, history wise.... Whoooops!
