i read a few posts on hear a while ago about SAF looking at young impressive italian striker 'Maccarone' ...

but it seems others are also sniffin round the guy .... <a href="http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/sporttop/page.cfm?objectid=11924637&method=full&siteid=50143" target="_blank">BORO</a>

should UTD be in for him as a reasonably cheap number 9 ????
 
I agree i would prefer him to Forlan even though I like Forlan. I dunno if you agree but forlans shooting from long distances remainds me alot of Rivaldos shooting. I read that birmingham had a bid accepted for him but HE turned down the move not suprised, he should be playing for a great team like UTD or Juventus not BORO
