When a player is Sent off, more often than not its because the player getting sent off DELIBERATELY set out to HURT the opposing player.

Keane's lunge on Haaland was disgraceful, i won't defend Keano for it.

But just because Keano just happened to be honest about that he set out to hurt Haaland means, he should be found guilty of bringing game into disprepute!

WTF is that all about, cos he just happened to be honest!

when Vieira elbowed hasslewank was anything done about it!?

WAS IT feck

when Carragher threw a coin into the crowd, was anything done about it?

WAS IT feck

This is The F.A's nasty on going vendetta against Keano. What a buch of wankers

Apart from him being sent off and banned you mean?

The only thing Keane was guilty of (apart from deliberately hurting Haaland) was honesty and maybe a little bit of stupidity. Stupidity in that if he wanted to write about the incident in his autobiography, he should've done it after he retired from his playing career, therefore not putting it at risk

if id kick you in the fecking knee on a street Id be in shit too!

fecking hell, he fecking wrote it down in a fecking book....

Id be grateful with a ban of 5 games.

nothing was done because it was obviously was an accident, bending down, picking it up, aiming and propelling it towards the crowd (containing woman and children).
Ideally the FA should look at all incidents like this and if they look to have meant it a 5 match ban should be given.
Everyon knew he meant it, like everyone knows carragher meant to throw a coin into the crowd.

carrashit was lucky, cantona got banned far longer for something which isnt that far off....

It's the fecking fans they should be banning.....

The difference between the Carragher incident (which I think he deserved more than a 3 game ban) and the Keane incident, is that Keane's tackle was premeditated but the coin throw was in the heat of the moment. If Carragher were to write a book explaining how he hated Arsenal fans and was determined to throw a coin at them before the game, then you could compare the two incidents.

Keano's comments can be interpreted differently from what you read in the papers. He definitely held a grudge but did he plan for 2 years on how to kick Haaland? I don't think so. Pent up anger boiling over, that's how I see it. Ever been so mad at someone the mere sight of him sends you into a rage?

Better read the book first before you comment. Shouldn't talk about things you don't know much about.

point taken mate, but if I blacked your eye with my elbow in the street, I'd be nicked too, but that that doesn't prevent me from doing it and getting done on the pitch!

I don't give a feck what he done to that twat Haaland. The punishment has been meted out and we'll have to live with it.

Keano is all red and he'll need all our support when he comes back. He'll feel he owes us all something (even though he doesn't) and we'll all see the very best of Utd's true warrior.

Watch out it's countdown time.

i think he got off easy with a 5 match ban.

I'm only disappointed the ban will cover the Liverpool game.

He'll be available for the Arsenal game which is also an important thing.

Remember Cantona came back in the Liverpool game? Maybe Keane can give us the same sort of inspriration when he comes back for the Arsenal game.
