17 year old Sao Paulo prodigy dubbed the new "Kaka'" is said to have signed for Juventus, according to his agent.

Can anyone shed light on him? I've seen only a few clips and he looks as talented if not more than Kaka' at the same age.

Also, Ganso is said to be pushing for a move to Inter.

For some reason I read his name as "Lech Poznan".

Must be because there are too one too many City threads around recently.

With their history, Juventus accusing anyone else of being unethical is laughable.

Now confirmed by Chelsea.

Chelsea confirm pre-contract deal with Lucas Piazon

By Arindam Rej

Chelsea owner Abramovich has already spent heavily this season
Chelsea have agreed a pre-contract deal with Sao Paulo's Lucas Piazon but the attacking midfielder will not arrive at Stamford Bridge until January 2012.
Piazon, 17, cannot join until he turns 18 next January, meaning the transfer window in the same month is the earliest he can complete his move.
The Brazil youth international is "expected to join on a long-term deal", Chelsea said on Friday.
Chelsea have not disclosed the fee but reports have said it could reach £10m.
Yet to play for Sao Paulo, Piazon is currently with the Brazil Under-17 side at the South American Championship in Ecuador, where Brazil have won two and lost one of their opening three group matches.
Piazon has so far scored twice, a winning goal against Venezuela and in Brazil's defeat by Paraguay.
He had been linked with a switch to Juventus before Chelsea made their move.
Blues owner Roman Abramovich has already spent heavily on one Brazilian this season, signing defender David Luiz from Benfica for more than £20m in January, with Spaniard Fernando Torres also arriving at Stamford Bridge, for £50m.
As well as Luiz, midfielder Ramires and defender Alex are the other Brazilians in Chelsea's first-team squad.
Sao Paulo, the club that produced Kaka, have already seen former players succeed in the Premier League, including Juninho at Middlesbrough.
Juliano Belletti was at the Brazilian outfit from 1996 to 2002 before playing for Chelsea from 2007 to 2010.

Couldn't find another thread on him.

So he is on loan at one of Chelsea's feeder clubs, Vitesse, who are having a great season and are joint top with Ajax. According to Wiki, he has played 18 games and has 11 goals and 8 assists; pretty impressive by all accounts. I don't watch the Eredivisie, so I haven't seen him play. Anyone on here seen much of him?

I saw he was doing well in Netherlands recently, the thread name tricked me into thinking Juve had Matic'd him away from Chelsea this window

Watched about 5 of their games this season, just due to the sheer amount of players we have their. He's been excellent from what I've seen. I'd be very surprised if he doesn't make it into our first team squad in the future.

I wouldn't be. You only have to look at De Bruyne and his treatment.

Like Barney has said.......De Bruyne was fantastic for Bremen in the 1.Bundesliga last season and he had no chance

Piazon is very good for Vitesse but he plays just in the Eredivisie

With Mourinho as manager.......no youth player will have a chance at Chelsea

It's a myth that Jose doesn't give youth a chance. He's given players debuts at Inter, Porto and Madrid. If they're good enough they will play. Chelsea don't have a good acadamy. If a youth player has potential, he will be played.

Eh? Won the youth cup twice in the last 5 years.

I remember this guy playing against us a year or two ago, was very good although not to the extent I labelled him a sure-fire first teamer.

Yeah it's improving clearly and we will see the results in the next couple of years. Up until now we haven't produced anyone of note in the last few years. Many have been promising but haven't materialised.

Chelsea do have a good youth set-up, young players don't get a chance there. To get into Chelsea's team the bar is high, can he be better than Hazard, Willian or Oscar all of who are in their early 20's. Young players need to play to improve and Chelsea don't provide that opportunity.

Still, loaning out Lukaku and bringing in Eto'o doesn't quite seem like something Wenger or Ferguson might do, doesn't it?

The whole point of them going on loan is for playing time. It's not as if we keep them on a bench season after season, now that would be detrimental to their development.

At the level of Vitesse? It isn't high enough. Countless players who have had the ability to contribute and slowly be brought into the first team have been wasted by Chelsea, that is a fact.

Who are these countless wasted players? Sturridge is the only one who could have contributed and wasn't given a chance.
