Ercolani is an U16s defender - think he's primarily a CB - who has been over to Carrington for quite a few times in the last 2 years, going on pre-season with our U15/16s and even trained with our U21s on an occasion.Was on the book of Fordi but technically it has been made obvious for a while that he's going to sign for us.

Haven't seen him play but with Williams probably will play at least U21s football full-time next season he's a necessary recruitment for the U18s to prepare for the next season.

*It's weird actually being at the age now where we sign players who I deem ridiculously younger than me (I'm only 22). I miss the days where I could be like "Oh he's same age as me!".

Seems to be quite a highly regarded and elegant defender. Look forward to seeing him play in the U18s in the future. Also, through Google translate, there's this bit which was quite interesting too:

Moise Kean's only 15, but a quick search online does suggest that he is seen as quite a talent at the moment. We, along with others such as City and Real Madrid, seem to be looking to perhaps strike a deal with him before Juventus can sign him to professional terms at the end of next month when he turns 16.

I broke my ankle a week before my thirtieth a couple of years back....it was only at that point I succumbed to the realisation that I wasn't ever going to play for United!...(The fact that I hadn't kicked a football in anger for at least two years before that never entered my mind) .....You've got years ahead of you yet before that sobering moment of realisation truly arrives!

Just wait until players that are younger than you start retiring, then it will feel really weird.

Wait till players younger than you retire or are just done.
