How will they line up then? Seems a strange set of players...I don't rate Vermijl as a centre back at all. He's quite undersized, especially for a 2 man system.

--------------Amos
Janko, Vermijl, Blackett, James
------------Thorpe
------Weir--------Goss
-----------Periera
----Keane--------Wilson

???
Also Amos playing at that level says a lot about his career at United doesn't it?

James Gray has an early effort for Stanley which is saved by Ben Amos

Liam Goulding scores for Stanley with a header from Lee Molyneux free kick 1-0

It's been one-way traffic so far with George Bowerman heading over in a decent position for Stanley

Man Utd starting to see more of the ball now but haven't yet threatened Stanley's goal.

Andreas Periera just ballooned an effort over the Stanley bar 1-0 to asfc

Goal number two for Accrington - John Roberts, a 16-year-old, scores for Stanley. 2-0

Man United U21s 1-2 Acrrington Stanley: United U21s get one back - James Wilson's cross and easy for Will Keane to tap home

United are coming more into this game now. Putting some dangerous balls into the box. Still 2-1 to Stanley though

James Wilson fires just wide for MUFC

MUFC equalised - Will Keane beat the off-side trap, got the better of the keeper and slotted into the empty net 2-2

Half-time 2-2

How can this not be on fecking MUTV? Bloody hell, that's terrible!

Lee Molyneux free kick deflected off the wall and over the bar 2-2

Andreas Periera's shot goes over the bar

James Weir has an effort from range blocked

James Gray curling effort superbly turned away by Ben Amos 2-2

Great run by Stanley's Piero Mingoia down the right wing, got his cross in but no one could get on the end of it 2-2

Subs for both sides: Donald Love for James Wilson for MUFC; Oscar Durnin for Piero Mingoia 2-2

Tyler Blackett gets a talking to by the ref for a late tackle 2-2

Andreas Pereira with a good run down the middle but his final pass is poor

Saidy Janko with a cross from the right is blocked by the first man

George Bowerman ran through, chipped the keeper but his shot sailed narrowly wide of the goal 2-2

Will Keane takes a shot from inside the opposition area but the shot goes wide

Roberts clears off the line from Saidy Janko 2-2

Luke Simpson makes a great save from Andreas Pereira 2-2

Man United U21s 3-2 Accrington Stanley: James Weir scores for Man United U21s to put them in the lead!

Reece James comes off for Liam Grimshaw

Will Keane scores a fourth for MUFC 4-2

Ashley Fletcher comes on for United U21s and makes his first appearance this season, Will Keane off after scoring a hat-trick

Tyler Blackett threads a good through ball to Andreas Pereira who can't control the pass

Saidy Janko goes on a run down the right and has a shot which sales well over the crossbar

Accrington Stanley almost get a consolation goal but Ben Amos makes a smart stop

Full Time Accrington Stanley 2-4 Manchester United

Their viewing numbers for academy and reserve matches must be terrible, they make little effort to show away matches especially.

But it's the only reason I'd buy the channel, if it was available online or in the States.

Pearson is international duty. Not sure Rothwell.

Think he might be called up by England U20s to replace the injured Harrop though it might just another injury case.Good to see Goss got 90 min.Him,Weir,Love and Grimshaw need to play.I wouldn't mind to loan out Thorpe,Rothwell,W.Keane,James and play something like this until Jan with the bold names be involved with the first team at times:
Any GK
Janko - McNair/Love - Grimshaw - Vermijl(C.Evans)
Pearson
Goss - Pereira(Willock)
Harrop
Wilson(Fletcher) - Weir

I agree with the gist. Pearson's ready for a loan, probably more so than Rothwell. Send him to the Championship, give his spot to Willock.

Loving Pereira these days. Being part of the first team squad has transformed his confidence. Last season games passed him by. This season he's constantly demanding the ball and everything is going through him. Wonderful player

maybe we realized that he should be played more centrally and deeper than ever rather than playing as "winger" hope to see him getting a chance soon in the first team which I believe he would take..
