Don in Dallas: Kristin, are they killing off Sawyer on Lost?
Yes, they're killing Sawyer off Lost. Other season finale deaths to expect this year: A depressed McDreamy commits surgical hara-kiri with a scalpel on Grey's Anatomy, Blair uses thallium poison to kill Chuck Bass on Gossip Girl, and Jon Stewart is being written out of The Daily Show With Jon Stewart. (Sorry for the bad joke.) To my own personal knowledge, Josh Holloway is not going anywhere (swear). However, it is possible there is a death I don't know about..

Carlos in Carolina, Puerto Rico: Kristin, I read on IMDB that Kiele Sanchez is back on Lost in April. Is this true? Love you from Puerto Rico!
Back at you, bambino! According to Kiele's reps, "This isn't true," and we won't be getting any return visits from Nikki Fernandez in April's episodes of Lost. Guess those buried-alive deaths actually stick!

So far this season our heads have been spinning trying to keep up with what year they are in, why they are all in different times and will they all reunite? Now the executive producers have come forward and announced that we can all take a deep breath, relax and get comfortable where we are for the time being.

Cuse said “We’re kind of done with the rapid skipping through time for a while.”

Apparently from next week we will be back to a more familiar episode format, centric episodes with flashbacks! USA TODAY is also reporting that we will be finally finding out more about the pasts of Faraday and Miles before the end of the season.

Lindelof said the show “becomes a lot more character-centric, for those people who were more confused or scratching their heads , it’s sort of normalized.”

Accordinging to Cuse, the love triangle will also play a big part in upcoming episodes, with Juliet very much aware of the problems Kate’s return might cause. Cuse also hinted that they were aware that the time travelling idea might put some viewers off, something which has been argued across the boards with Lost seeing the viewing figures down by 18% this season.
Taking all this into consideration Lindelof compared the show to college coursework and said “College gets harder as you go on, and you’re now taking Advanced Lost.”

This is definitely something we can all agree on, Lost has been turned up a gear this season, with most of us trying our best to keep up, but isn’t that part of the appeal of the show? Now we seem to be getting answers, and the end is coming into sight, the pace will surely not be slowing down anytime soon.

USA TODAY also reports that producers have said we will get more answers in upcoming episodes to questions such as how did Hurley find out about getting to Ajira 316 and how was Sayid captured?

By that she means he won't be getting killed if your sarcasm detectors are off.

All sawyer dieing stuff is due to someone saying one of Ben, Faraday and Sawyer will die. Then she followed it up with that someone who audience loves and is also loved by someone in LOST will die.

Major Rumours from the finale

I received this report which claims their friend was involved as an extra during recent filming of the finale. This is potentially very spoilerly so unless you want to know major plot points I suggest to don't read any further.

Her main scene was when Locke and one of the "others" get into a huge fight over leadership of the group. Alpert is on the sidelines. She described their system of leadership as a shared power structure and never just one central leader which kind of contradicts Ben's role in previous seasons. She said there are a lot of the others who we have never seen before and they are very high up in the hierarchy and reside in and around in and around areas of the island we have never seen before including and mainly the temple. Her role in this scene was to wipe the wounds of the injured man. Apparently Locke takes on this guy and kicks his ass.

She said their is a truly insane plot twist that occurs in the 2nd half of the season finale involving the temple. This twist involves a group of people walking out of the temple. They cleared the set of all the extras. They removed a ton of the crew members and she was told this scene was off the daily shooting sheet for non-principle actors and crew. She totally got the lowdown on the scene but they did not want the extras to see what they were doing.

The make-up department was working overtime and had been working in the three separate trailers for over 6 hours.

She witnessed Daniel Dae Kim exit his trailer and watched as he was quickly ushered to the temple set. Here's the insane part. Daniel Dae Kim was dressed like a 70 year old man. He was aged with make-up and had a medium lentgh white beard.

She missed several other actors who had already been taken to set. But everyone on the set was talking about it. Three or four of them main actors were all made up to long like older versions of themselves. In the days to follow the only details on the scene that leaked out of the crew was that a group of people who we know very well walk out of the temple in 2007 and she believes they speak to Locke. These people are central to the hierarchy of the others in 2007 and the temple is a place where they have hid out for a very long time unable to leave for fear of messing with the islands history. But I guess something happens so they can leave the temple.

seems bollocks to me.
