This one for the oldies I guess....

The first one was amazing but jesus 20 years to come up with another? Can't wait though.

nah

why make a sequel which will not be in keeping with the cult nature of the original? They waited too long. Can see Indiana Jones going the same way. Theres no need to bring them back

New Indiana Jones will be good.

Lost Boys 2 will propably be a crap for teenagers.

The only way I will watch this is of Kiefer returns in the first 10 minutes and kills them all. Not vampire style, just fecking Jack Bauer style.

I did like the remix of "Cry little Sister" though. But feck the rest, seriously, I grew up on Lost Boys and love it. That looked more like a The Hills meets fecking Buffy season one.

This movie would have been a lot more appealing if they had got Corey Haim to reprise his role from the original.

At least Corey Feldman s back!!

The original is one of my all time favourite horror movies. I will watch the sequel out of loyalty to the first but i'm really not expecting much at all.

"MTV: This is the part of the interview, sir, where I ask you about Corey Haim. I read your blog, and I read a couple updates, and I'm confused — is he in the film?

Feldman: He is in the film. It's obviously something that we've been trying to keep under wraps because there's been so much speculation. There's been so much back and forth. But, that said, I am proud to say he is finally a part of the film."

There you go.

This thread has inspired me to download the original and watch it.

Hopefully it's as good as everyone here says.

I couldn't agree with you more!

One other thing is Corey Haim's grandpa in the movie isn't in this one, so naturally its going to suck!

"One thing I've never liked about Santa Clara.....Too many vampires."
And the "Old Fart" sticker on his goodie tray in the fridge! Classic!!:lol:

Agree with all that.

I hate all this where they get old films remake them or do pointless sequels. It'll be Goonies 2 next.

Nobody loves movies as much as me, but as a 17 year old i thought "the lost boys" was way too heavy on the 80's traditional style and couldnt watch it.

i understand its a nostalgia thing though!

Pretty much my feelings too. I'm excited Corey Fieldman is in it, at least we know somebody, and the remix of Cry Little Sister sounds awesome.

A sense of forboding washes over me.

I loved this film as a kid, it was one of my favorites, which is why I am worried about this sequal, and I would have been even if it was made much closer to the original. Just leave it be, is nothing sacred any more.

Bad idea, you know it's gonna be shit, I will avoid I think.
