New Oasis single, first ever only digital release by the lads. Seems to be the way things are going, don't bother me I stopped buying actual physical singles and albums long ago

Anyway, available to download now, www.oasisnet.com

Listening to it now, good tune, one of the most beatles soundalike tracks they've ever done to my mind. Can never be that immense, fresh, shit hot band they were back in the mid 90's, but still my favourite band of all time

Oasis were finished after 1997, they've done nowt of note since, took me a long time to admit it but I'm glad I saw the best of them at the age I was at the time.

I thought Be Here Now was rubbish so I'd go even earlier. Say 1995 because nothing since What's The Story Morning Glory has been worth listening to IMO.

Shame.

True enough really; Morning Glory came out in about October 1995, my last year at school and they were huge. The summer of 1996 when I left was awesome for music, plenty of top bands. They still were massive going into 1997, and I said they died this year because Be here Now was shite. Urban Hymns by The Verve was far better when that came out in the same year.
Every album Oasis have done since has been mediocre to say the least, aside from one or two tracks.
Still brilliant putting on a cd (or docking your iPod these days) whilst having people round for a drink and listenign to Oasis, but give me The Beatles anyday over them.....
