Apparently the trip is scheduled for sometime this year so in any case, looking at either late 2011 or early 2012 for release.

On a side note about the series, I thought Long Way Round was miles better then Long Way Down. The latter seemed to be far too easy and rushed compared to the first. Combined with Ewan's wife tagging along for some stupid reason, it certainly reduced the magnitude of what they were doing. Long way down, so easy your wife who's barely ridden a motorbike can do it with you!. I think Boorman started feeling the same way. As big a star as Ewan is, he shouldn't be drawing attention to himself for these series like he did in Long Way Down.
