This is the general so I don't see why this can be wrong.

I'll leave this thread for the admin who locked the 'lads back in pre-season' thread to explain why, as Hectic said.

I've given my thoughts, the admin who actually locked the thread can give his views when he logs on.

He then locked the thread, leaving me to wonder how the admin would actually tell us, so they can do it here. Not trying to be annoying but would just like a reason as I agree with Mockney on this.

Modmins can post in locked threads.

Also, inb4 the lock

Will this thread be locked if we completely derail it?? Thus making it generals worthy

Right, I gave an answer to you in the other thread, and locked it so that the admin can reply without trawling through pages of arguments. I'm not interested in fights and all that nonsense. You've asked a question of the mods/admins, more than fair enough, it has nothing to do with other posters, as I've said, it's locked to avoid needless posts, not to piss you off.

It has nothing to do with posters, Mockney asked a question of a Mod/Admin, the admin in question will respond when he logs in, avoiding needless pages of arguments and the likes, I thought it's easier this way. The admin can obviously post in locked threads, that's how he would respond, and how you would see it.

when ever there is someone banned there is usually an argument thread which is locked after 27 pages each time, its pretty annoying, feck locked threads.

If it does get locked then I'd be quite confused as to what we're allowed to do.

this will be locked and then the mods will proceed to have a conversation in front of us while we cannot do anything about it, im not bitter its just a luxury they have that we dont thats all

Given this is now discussed in three threads, and the question is asked in the admin forum, I'll lock this one. I can assure you, it's not to piss you off, but this way posters can ask a direct question, admins can answer it without the bullshit posts from everyone else that isn't really neccessary. As I said, Mockney asked a fair question.

Don't you think the whole forum is about needless and trivial arguments? To be fair it's what we've always done in our time here. If I wanted to read something serious I'd be reading a book. if people don't want to read a particular thread they're not forced.

PS: United forum is out of bounds for spamming. Although the off season is a different matter. We can be a bit lenient (IMO).
