TBH, if you think of it, that's the kind of team you could put together with the amount of money spent by <img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" /> (ditch Kahn if you think he is 70m).

If you add some homegrown players:

Kirkland
Gallas Mexes Boumsong Carlos <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />
Duff Gerrard Murphy Kewell
Owen Cisse

or, putting just under 10m worth of his total purchases and leaving the unrealistic Carlos out:

Gallas Mexes Hyppia Riise
Duff Gerrard Murphy Kewell
Owen Cisse

That team would rip you apart AND play some decnt football :eek:

That team will NEVER grace the Anfield turf, it is media bullshit - Shanks was making a point.
