Apparantly preparing a 40mill summer spree acording to the tabloids today. Anelka or Cisse for 15million, harry kewell <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" /> , wayne bridge 7mill chris rigott from derby 5mill and mark overmars. Sounds good for them but harry kewell thats tabloid bull shit he will move to spain in the summer and i agree with the rest,these reports have been circulating for months.
It also mentioned man utd had more scouts to watch river plates Dlassandro, boca juniors central defender bedissmo(think thats how u spell it)and that keeper from san loronzo.

Cisse is not moving for another season, and ther's no chance Kewell will go.

All in all it looks like it will be a busy close season for the top 3, which can only make it an even closer league next year, if that's possible!
 
i think we'll sign cissé and then have him on a le havre-style arrangement - he'll play on loan for auxerre next season to gain a bit more first-team experience and then move to anfield in time for the 2003/4 season along with his compatriots le tallec and sinama-pongolle......

we have the two french starlets arriving at the start of the 03/04 season, and it may well be the case that cissé will be signed this summer and loaned out for a year.....where's the problem with that theory?

oh, absolutely - pure speculation of course. but it is based on the past history of our loaning back le tallec and pongolle, djimi traore is another we've done it with, plus GH's extensive conversations with guy roux - there's no evidence, but it is scientific fact.

No Inch, Man Utd having 'first refusal' on Cisse is daydreaming, eh Raoul, but this is an educated guess... ;)
 
Funny how all the Scousers are so excited about signing Cisse, that would only mean ONE thing, Owen is going to be sold.

You say that like it's a bad thing. If Owen is sold we'll get over £50m... we already have enough to cover the arrival of Cisse and Anelka... one out and two in with £50m in small change is a good deal IMO.

That'll probably happen a few weeks after Man Utd put 'Football Club' back on their crest, which by all accounts will be when hell freezes over. Gotta love that PLC... :D
