It could have been dealt with a lot differently had people listened to the admins and mods words from the start. I can sort of see where you are coming from in that you asked a honest question after Marching told you to stop, but it was your comment to Jason after he had done nothing to deserve it that threw any support you had out of the window.
 
Can one of us exercise his options for him?

They've both gone on quite the little rampage - all for being told by the third moderator to shut up.
 
Murph....We knew your feelings from the other thread, there was honestly no need to start another thread about the matter.

You feel hard done by, we feel ignored etc.

Let's just let this little episode finish and continue with the season...
 
Making fun out of a bomb that injured people and forced people to lose their livelihoods. Is okay.

They can't see the hypocrisy. Funny thing is they're not even from Liverpool, but definitely have the same self pitying, hypocritical mentality

This is I think the underlying problem. Call me paranoid if you like but I'm not the only one who strongly suspects Jason is out to make a name for himself as the man who scourged the boards of scousers, especially those who give him a run for his money.

I am always civil unless I'm treated with no respect, Jason shows none at all as usual, he told me to shut up long after I had as my question had been answered, regardless I won't be addressed like a naughty teenager, it was this which gave me 'the hump' more than anything else.

Jason told me my story that I didn't know about the bombing thread was unbelievable ergo I am a liar and that I was fishing for a ban, these are things Hectic denies he said, sorry I've re-read the posts, check them out.

I resent the fact that you're questioning my word but if I have to deny it again, tell me, when did this ridiculous thread about chickens and bombs take place? I've been in France for two weeks from 2nd August, was it then?

I've posted in here because I was asked to take it out of the Football forum, I've said what I wanted to, cheers.

He's been victimised by the fact that a moderator had the unmitigated gall to moderate.

Murph, if there was an evil Manc Yank conspiracy to get rid of you, you would be gone.

I am sure Jason has better things to think about than making a name for himself on here Murph. The fact he didn't respond to your post quickly enough is a bit of a weak arguement against him isn't it and I think you are reading too much into his tone of reply.

It does seem a bit odd that you noticed and felt the need to highlight Ralphies distasteful post but not freds other than to ask for it to be explained. Even then there was no condemnation of it.

IMO Ralphie was dealt with and has heeded his warning - fred continued to moan and is lucky not to be banned - you maybe should have shown equal disgust to freds bomb joke as you did to Ralphies.


Thankfully it is all behind us now and we can move on and, whilst we might not all like the way Mods mod, those are the rules so lets not get our knickers in a twist.

Marching, I wasn't making the point that Jason was slow to resond more that a long time had elapsed with no further input from me when he finally did so why did he need to join in and so aggressively too, unless he was flexing his muscles?

You initially asked me to stop which I readily agreed to, I hadn't really started in the first place, but I simply asked for an explanation as I didn't have a feckin clue what you lot were on about with chickens and bombs. I got my answer and said no more, not least as I'd been asked to drop it, which I had until Jason kicked off again.

Anyway, as you say, let's leave it there, no hard feelings.
 
I don't think Jason meant to be patronizing or anything like it Murph, he was just trying to get the topic of chickens and bombs and what not to end.

Anyway, you have explained yourself well and as you said, no hard feelings either.
 
I read more than i post on here, always have, probably always will but here's my 2p from an active reader.

Every other thread at the moment appears to be mods v scousers, mods v doom & gloom merchants, mods v someone, while im not saying its the mods fault, you might want to stop doing it all so openly and move stuff here right away as it doesnt paint a pretty picture in the football forums ;)
 
This is just an example of new mods trying to get involved and actually do something, always tends to happen when we get new ones...they're looking to be proactive and end up creating more problems than they solve. It'll settle down soon, probably...
