Exclusive: Reds sign Diarra

Liverpool have today completed the signing of French midfielder Alou Diarra.

Diarra has signed for the Reds on a free transfer from German giants Bayern Munich.

The 21-year-old former French Under-20 international signed for Bayern from French Division Two side Louhans-Cuiseaux two years ago and was a member of the French Under-20 side that went to the World Youth Cup in 2001.

Liverpool also expect to officially announce the signing of Bruno Cheyrou over the next few days, while Senegalese duo Salif Diao and El-Hadji Diouf have already committed themselves to Gerard Houllier's new-look Reds side.
