Let’s track this until the end of the season and keep it objective.

If you follow the VAR thread you’ll know they’ve been given the benefit of the doubt already this season a ridiculous amount of times.

With the Coote controversy that’s only going to get worse and worse with referees terrified of upsetting the professional victims.

So this is day zero in this thread and we’re only going to record and discuss decisions going forward (the VAR thread is open for past decisions). I thought it would be interesting to see if this is cognitive bias or if they’re genuinely getting constant favourable referee help.

Will this require someone to watch every Liverpool match?
Yes, we are going to delegate this work to a single person and nobody else will be allowed to raise incidents

Copium thread.

Coote’s been out to get us. We’re owed.

referees terrified of upsetting the professional victims.

Sad, this.

They've won what because of good
management and planning, something sorely lacking at ours for some time.

It isn't because of bizarre conspiracy theories and Sun-newspaper style slander about 'always the victims'.

We don't have to like it but christ can we stop being this level of sour.

They're claiming all over the internet some decisions in which Coote was a VAR ref cost them the title(s).

The busier this thread gets the better season Liverpool will be having. Bit like the ‘Lucky Liverpool’ one.

I’m hoping we’re into 15 pages by the New Year.

Listening to you lot constantly whinging, crying and claiming the world is against ye despite having a long history of getting preferable treatment from referees?

Yeah it does.
The irony. I'm just waiting for the 'we wouldn't get away with that as the whole world is against us....more clicks, sells newspapers, ABU driven media etc. etc...' post.

Let's just admit that all sets of fans love a good old opinion driven conspiracy against their rivals. We were the same in the 90s/00s with you guys.

They have been very well run and I admired the Salah-Mane-Firminho team for their workrate and skill...and I also can't dislike Klopp because if he was our manager, I'd love it.

That all being said, they are the jammiest, luckiest, most leniently refereed team on the planet. I have no reason to say that through bias. I don't feel like City or Chelsea or Arsenal get lenient treatment

They've been getting decisions for DECADES. I remember being at a Middlesbrough match (that I've just searched and it was 2008) when Mascherano grabbed Aliadiere by the throat, who slapped him in return and got sent off. Nothing for Mascherano obviously. Just seen that instead of the 3 game ban he got a 4 game ban for a "frivolous appeal" after they appealed the decision. Some things never change hey. Sounds like they might end up with some frivolous titles if the current Coote witch-hunt is anything to go by :D
