I think the US has a real chance to make it out this time
Group A: France will easily make it out, and the battle will be between Uruguay and Denmark. For some reason, I think Denmark will make it through.
Group B: Spain, like France, should easily make it through. Slovenia I hope will show that it has the necessary class (which I think it does) to go on through.
Group C: Brazil should easily make it, and Turkey should as well, but I think Costa Rica could surprise some people.
Group D: Portugal will go through easily, but I do think the USA has a good shot as well. I am really expecting the team to do ok--second in the group of course.
Group E: Germany and Ireland of course.
Group F: This one is the interesting one. One would think it would be Argentina and England, but you can never be too sure. Nigeria will either play like shit or play brilliantly. Sweden can also be very effective or very poor. I think Argentina will make it, but the question is who will come in second. No idea, since I dislike the English NT, I will hope for Sweden.
Group G: Italy easily. The battle will be between Croatia and Mexico, and I think Croatia have too much class. Although, Mexico do usually step up to the plate in the WC.
Group H: Russia and Belgium, without a doubt.
