This time about a month ago, people were on this forum slating SAF and the whole squad in general.
The main critism of SAF was that he has left the squad to weak, not enough squad players.
Ever since our re-surgence back up the league, fans still seem to be dismissing the idea of strengthening the squad.

IMO 2/3 squad players MUST be brought in Jan, we don't have to spend over 8million in total. Even if we bring in some freebies, it gives us a bit more variation and we won't be left short, which very almost happened during our injury crisis.

agree to an extent. i still think we should bring one body in - an attacker.
the rest i think can stretch till the summer.

a striker definitely. hate to think what would happen if ruud got injured. :(

We've had a great run with some of the major players out injured but don't forget that it took a few games for these players to really start performing. Also just because that happened doesn't mean that we have a strong enough squad to last a full season. We need to bring a few players to make sure that if this situation arises again we have adequate cover. Playing 50 or 60 games a season puts a massive strain on any squad and the more strength in depth we have the better.

Agree with what are being said here. We have some injury in these few weeks, but fortunately the injury problem didn't occur in our striker department. We still need to get one or two good striker/forward so that we will have better cover and variation in that department.

The only problem area for me is back up for RVN. We look a little lightweight upfront without him despite Diego's recent efforts. Who's suitable and available is another matter of course. Other than that I don't think we need anybody else.
