I felt sick when I heard that Arsenal had won by one solitary goal at Old Trafford but I can tell you, I would have felt sicker if Liverpool had done so. My heart goes out to our lads.

This was an unsuccessful season, mistakes were made on and off the field at Manchester United but please let`s not cane Sir Alex, Veron, Barthez, et al who have been scapegoated this year. It should not be a matter of looking to cast blame but accepting that this season had mistakes that everyone at Old Trafford will learn from.

I am confident that Veron will prove his knockers wrong - what kind of `objective journalism` is it that labels a new player who has had one season to adjust to a different countries` football league `a 28 million pound white elephant`? Sir Alex hit the nail on the head when he identified elements who are trying to unsettle an Argentinian player before the World Cup.

I do want Sir Alex to get back to seriously considering the youngsters - it worked before and it will work again if Manchester United go down that path once more. I know you have to have the young talent in the first place, but I believe we have, and had enough (so sorry that Danny Higginbotham and a few other class youngsters felt compelled to leave by lack of opportunity)young talent to cultivate.

But I want to thank all our lads for another hard-fought season. Maybe the saying that it is more difficult to stay at the top than to get there is true.

Thank you, all our fantastic Red Devils. Let`s hear it for our lads! Next year back with a vengeance! <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" /> <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" /> <img src="graemlins/devil.gif" border="0" alt="[Devil]" /> <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" /> <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" /> <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" /> <img src="graemlins/keano.gif" border="0" alt="[Keano]" />
