Looks to be close to completing a move to Everton, good signing for the money. Currently has 10 goals in 29 appearances this term for Twente.

Anybody seen him play? I know nothing of him apart from the generic 'FM' legend

He once bought his girlfriend a horse then realised she couldn't look after it becuase she lived in a block of flats. Thats all I know

Could he not just keep it on a farm/stables like 99% of all people who own horses?

OT never heard of this guy or seen him play, must have at least some ability though if he's playing for the Holland national side.

Apparently, he's called "the bouncer" because he's so strong, everyone just bounces off him.

Looking at where he plays it seems Moyes is adamant at playing Fellaini as a CAM. A shame.

Does he not sound like Felliani's replacement? Maybe they've agreed a fee with Chelsea asked to bring someone in before they signed the deal off.

I trust Moyes when he said we won't sell anyone this January and I think this deal is with instalments so it could be that we have agreed to sell someone in the Summer which I'd why we can. It's interesting though as I thought we would get a couple of loans but not another big money signing, assuming he will manage to complete the move.

Yeah but if its true there's the release clause in his contract then there's very little you can do about it. I'm not saying he definitely will go this window but much stranger things have happened and it looks somewhat of a fit.

If David Moyes are about to spend that kind of money of a young Dutch international centre-mid, we may as well save ourselves time and money and get him now ourselves. I've seen next to nothing of Leroy Fer, but my guess is he will be a very good signing for Everton, and will be worth at least double in no time.

Makes a lot of sense for Everton to spend now. If they get top four he'll be well worth it plus the extra money will let them keep their players. If they don't get top four they can balance the books by selling Baines or Fellaini in the summer.

I read something about him having a court case soon also. Not sure if it's bullshit or not though.

Can't blame them, unlike us and other top clubs Everton can not afford to take the risk.

Pity this didn't happen, I am fond of Everton and would have liked to have seen Fer in the Premiership.
