They're going to come out pressing us high up the pitch. Hope we have a plan on how to respond.

We have some the fastest players in the league. Turn their defence by playing long balls into channels.

This is exactly what Liverpool do to relieve pressure, and with Mane and Salah chasing it down, more often than not, they get on the end of them or froce the defenders into mistakes.

So, it all comes down to this, the £70 million game. I'm actually feeling pretty relaxed about it. We only need a point, meaning Leicester will need to be attacking, which in turn might play into our hands, with our ability to quickly counter attack. We mustn't play too defensively to get the draw, as that will just invite trouble. Instead be patient and play a normal game. We've done very well to get into this situation; Leicester face the prospect of throwing away what looked certain qualification. If we can stay calm and do a professional job, we will be fine. Of course, 'if' is the key word.

    I'm going for 2-0 United.

    Way to go!!

Think Ole will go with a 4-2-3-1 formation play all the big boys not really the time to drop players and if they don’t perform then it’s on them not Ole.

I don't think Matic should play after the performance he produced in the last match. I'd also bench Bruno and use Pogba as the 10.

    Fred-Mctominay
    Pogba

Keep the rest the same with Bruno to come on later, and Matic.
Bloody hell, it's like you want to throw the game. Let's not play our best player in Bruno? Let's play 2 of the 3 midfielders as players that have proven they can't control a game or be positionally responsible? Bonkers. Matic last game was playing after 2 days rest. He also played the Chelsea game with only 2 days rest. He's had 4 days now and will be ready to go.

By the way if you're referring to him taking 4-5 touches before releasing the ball every time last game then that's on Ole. A player doesn't go from playing 1-2 touch week in week out to suddenly taking 5 touches, that was clearly tactical to slow the game down & was the wrong approach in my opinion but Matic isn't the manager.

Which is why I keep saying we need to play 5 at the back today. 2 CBs not enough for him
5 at the back without 2 good offensive fullbacks is useless. Think Ole saw that against Chelsea.

I am shiting myself here guys, have just been pacing around my house the past few hours.

100% this. It only works for Chelsea because they have Marcos Alonso who is more of a midfielder than defender anyway & Reece James who is a very attack minded fullback. It absolutely will not work for us, especially if we have a right footed player on the left like Brandon or TFM! 5 ATB would be suicide here today.

People saying drop Bruno, Pogba, Rashford etc. imo, are just trying to sound trendy and provocative.

What an absurdly ridiculous notion it is to drop our best players in our most important game of the season.

Yeah, in a cup final you play your best players no matter what and that’s what this is.

Tahith Chong is here but the chances of him making the squad have to be remote unless the squad has been eating lasagne. That reference might be lost on those born after 2006. In fact, he and Pereira have just been escorted to seats in the stands.
It’s a gorgeous day here at Leicester and we can confirm United have brought the following players with them:
Maguire, McTominay, James, Wan-Bissaka, Ighalo, Fred, Romero, Pogba, Bailly, Williams, Greenwood, Lingard, Rashford, Lindelof, De Gea, Fosu-Mensah, Pereira, Chong, Mata.

We haven’t always played bad with 5 at the back. Sure we’ve had some trouble lately but I just don’t trust Maguire/Lindelof with Vardy. All they need is one goal and park the bus after. We can’t afford Vardy taking any runs in behind the defense.

Yeah I meant 3 CBs and 2 FBs
We don’t have any quality attacking FB’s to play this system

Um no Shaw, Matic or Fernandes? Shaw I could see, being injured and all, but no Matic or Fernandes?!

No Shaw is a big blow, but we should still be able to get the job done. Leicester have a lot more players out than us. There's no excuses. Let's get the job done!
