Watching that Suso kid for Liverpool in the FA Youth Cup got me thinking how useful it will be to bring through some naturally left-footed players.

Patrice Evra is the one lefty I can think of who'll be in our first-team squad (although maybe Jonny Evans is too?) but I can't come up with any for our reserves/academy. Can anyone else?

Keane, Morrison and Macheda are all very strong on their left but I think they all favour their right. Any naturally left footed kids at the club?

Robbie Brady, Tyler Blackett, Zeki Fryers, Gyliano Van Velzen, Etzaz Hussein, Ollie Gill, Sean McGinty and Charni Ekangamene are all leftys I think

Evra only natural left footer in the first team squad?

What about Giggs and Anderson:confused:

Cool, thanks.

I really hope Brady can put all his injuries behind him.

Yeah Brady and King are kind of in the same boat where you get the feeling that if they could remain fit for any length of time they could make huge progress. From an Irish point of view it would be great if Brady could come through because he has a huge amount of natural ability and can play in a few positions.

Petrucci too.

It's a real shame watching youngsters miss out on so much football at such an important time in their development.

I personally think Brady isnt all that, good tidy player but im not overly excited about him. I think a few posters maybe have the irish tinted glasses on?

Of course we do. Isn't it obvious that Irish posters are particularly keen for a talented young Irish footballer to fulfil his potential?

Whether or not he's United quality remains to be seen. He's looked decent at times but never had the run of games he needs to really develop his game. I'd like to think that everyone on here (whether or not they're Irish) is hoping he can put his injury woes behind him and play a bit more football, so we can get a better idea of his true potential.

Not everyone would have seen the competition but He was our top goal scorer in the milk cup which was genuinely impressive. Other than that he's only shown flashes of what Im told he's capable of...
