'tis a silly place
With Bowyer now on the transfer list, David O'Leary and Peter Risdale have both admitted Bowyer is very important to Leeds United, has anyone noticed Trevor Sinclair on the transfer list at West Ham United?

Bowyer would like to go back to London and West Ham are a good team with many young Englishmen, so why not put in a swap bid?

I heard O'Laery was interested in him about two months ago.

Lee Bowyer I am sure would jump at the chance.

He used to live in London when playing for Charlton and he has said he is fond of London.

West Ham United are improving and he knows that. They have plenty of young Englishmen and Bowyer would slot in to the club nicely.

At the moment I doubt Bowyer can pick and choose his own clubs, becuase Bowyer is of course in serious trouble at Leeds and must go soon before it disrupts the club.

Nobody outside of Britain would want Bowyer I am sure and he would not be able to get used to the Language and system of Italy and Spain.

It makes sense, both are Transfer-Listed and Leeds want Sinclair.

I have a feeling that if leeds sell Bowyer, they will come for Butt... i don't know though. <img src="graemlins/nervous.gif" border="0" alt="[Nervous]" />

Yes I have thought of this as well.

Nicky Butt is Manchester-born and is a United man and would never leave United for Leeds United even for first team football.

Bowyer had been playing as a R/CM and that is the positions Sinclair features in for West Ham United.

well you can't bet on that, i am sorry, i don't mean that he isn't loyal, but think about it... it would be good for his future, i love the guy, but i do think that he is thinking about his future, which counts... right?

Manu4e, sometimes you find players like Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Denis Irwin and Nicky Butt who would gladly die for their team. Butt will not go to Leeds United, that is that. Leeds are not interested in his type of player anyway.

Jo, I didn't know he supported The Hammers - inside information eh? ;)

Leeds have looked at Sinclair before and may do again if Bow does not come to his senses. He got a great reception last night from fans, players and staff - he trained as normal yesterday, was told he maybe on the bench on Saturday and he was in the dressing room before and after the match - all a bit odd if he is so out of favour.
I still have a sneaky feeling he will stay.
Hope so!

Leeds United were the party that instigated Lee Bowyer going on the Transfer-List and as far as I know Bowyer was not on there by his own accord.

David O'Leary and Peter Risdale have both stated they do not want to sell Bowyer and that he is a good, player, but they can not have him tarnishing the clubs' record.

Breaking News, Spurs manager Glenn Hoddle says he would not dream of taking on Bowyer.

Glenn Hoddle :
"There is no interest there at all from us. I don't think I need to say more," he said.

"We haven't got £12million to buy a player, that's for sure.

Funds were used in the summer, wisely I feel, to get people in and I'm not looking to sign more at the moment.

"Every manager will tell you he is always looking to improve his squad but I've already brought in players who I knew had a winning mentality and I'm happy with how it has gone so far."

To be honest I can not see too many clubs wanting Bowyer after recent events - the boards of the clubs would never allow a player with his history to sign.

This is further strengthened with the news Leeds, Woodgate, Hackworth and Bowyer will be sued but the Najeib family.

Good luck to Bowyer, he does not deserve all this and I think the Najeibs are exagerating.

"I sincerely hope Lee will talk to us today, with or without his agent (David Giess), and agree that what we are asking for is not unreasonable given the unique circumstances which have happened over the last 23 months," said Ridsdale.

"We want Lee to play football for Leeds United. He is a very valuable member of the squad, but I think to not accept a fine in addition to the two-week maximum, given the circumstances, is wrong of Lee.

"People may say the fine is severe, but there are a number of people who would turn around and look at us, had we imposed a two-week fine, and said it was insufficient.

"Lee, by his own admission, had an excess of alcohol on the night in question in January 2000. We take very strongly that these players are role models and it is inappropriate to be in a city centre late at night as a professional footballer with an excess of alcohol in the body. We think we need to demonstrate that."

Bowyer says he is being victimised by Leeds after being cleared of charges of affray and grievous bodily harm in his recent court case.

"Having been acquitted of both charges at my recent trial, I was hoping to put this matter behind me and focus on doing my best for Leeds United and the supporters.

"Now the club appears to be victimising me and forcing me out having attempted to impose an unfair penalty by agreement."

The question is : Is Bowyer's Career (both with England and English Clubs) finsihed?

I note you say that Hoddle said he would not dream of taking Bowyer yet it was outside the quotes you gave....did he actually use those words Gazza?
I in no way think Bows career is finished - why should it be?
