but not Raul Gonzalez. Sorry, Marching.

You´ve loaned Real´s defender Raul Bravo for half a season.

Good move - no chance of a permanent move though.

UNITED SIGN SPANISH INTERNATIONAL

LEEDS UNITED have secured the signing of Real Madrid star Raul Bravo on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old is a full Spanish international and can play at either left-back or as a left sided midfielder.

Born in Valencia, he is seen as an outstanding prospect in Spanish football and is currently regarded as the understudy to Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos.

Terry Venables identified him as a target when he first arrived at the club, and Leeds United and Real Madrid have been talking for some time to broker the deal.

I don't know if this is a windup, but he's excellent. Good enough to play for spain but can't get many games with Roberto Carlos there.

He might be there longer than the manager and chairman then.

Raul Bravo? Reminds me of Raul's nick in Pro Evolution 2 on PS2... nice one, if its the case, of course. <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />
