I would like to congradulate Peter Ridsdale for agreeing a transfer deal that only covers Leeds' debt and liverpool for refusing to sign a trouble maker. Within the space of a few days leeds have lost the best english CB and have retained a player who wants to leave the tight fisted white rose ba*$%&ds.

It was a very good deal given their situation. Can't blame him for the deal, only for getting into a situation were they needed it.

considering they said they needed to make £15m on transfers before they could buy another player, and they are only getting £15m now and the rest next year. Where are they going to finance the Ayala bid from

Im sure the creditors will give more money.

They know they can expect at least 15m next season and as the money is loaned over 25 years, that will satisfy them

Alternatively, Viduka, Keane, Dacourt, Harte,Robinson etc may still be sold to make more funds available.

What a nice position for them to be in. Bit like chelsea were 2 years ago. Look at them now, Della Bona leaving cause the Debt chelsea are in may cause the break up of the team.
'Rats' and 'sinking ship' come to mind

They will probably have to sell someone else. I don't think you can blame Ridsdale for that, he sucked every penny he could. Kenyon did well in splitting up the payment as it doesn't strangle our transfer kitty while giving Leeds the one kick up the bollocks he could get away with.

Ridsdale would not be able to justify pulling out of a deal worth 50% of Leeds'debt just because he wants the money now to spend on players. In fact, the shareholders are probably pleased he can't! <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laugh Out Loud]" />

Ridsdale could do nothing about it. It was PK who did extremely well at getting the best deal possible out of an overly-complicated situation.

At last something that makes sense....well said Paul.

;)

They are in all sorts of trouble..

Risdale constantly tells the media lies "Rio is going nowhere" etc

He's tried to sell Keane despite the fact that the player wanted to stay..

He's now got Bowyer back, who has yet to sign a new contract..

Their best player demanded a move due to the clubs inability to finish in the top 4 again..

All good. ;)
