.....apparently.

Leeds happy to keep Keane

Leeds chairman Peter Ridsdale has insisted he will respect Robbie Keane's decision to stay at Elland Road after he rejected a move to Wearside.
The two clubs announced yesterday that they had agreed an undisclosed fee - thought to be around £8million - for Republic of Ireland striker Keane - as Leeds attempt to reduce a £60million transfer debt.
Even though he also made it clear that Keane is surplus to requirements at Leeds, Ridsdale maintained he would not force the striker out of the club, despite The Black Cats' interest.
"The Sunderland offer was accepted and we were obliged to tell Robbie of their interest," said Ridsdale.
"But if he is not interested in hearing what they have to say, then so be it."
Keane immediately rejected the opportunity to discuss personal terms at the Stadium of Light but Peter Reid will continue to monitor developments as he looks to add to his squad ahead of the new campaign.

I think your club motto should be changed to
marchingonwithoutya!

Unbelievable, trying to sell your player behind his back.

Bit stupid anyone thinking he would go to Lazio....Juve for him I hear.

Interesting reading the treatment you were getting on SqBall and KrapTalk - take no notice of the morons....and give that brother of yours a belt round his head

;)

It was no secret that Keane was on DOL's list of fringe players Davo - I hope we can keep him.

Do you still think Rio is leaving?

Not as confident as I was..

Tho who else are you going to sell?

Apart from potentially a cut price Bowyer to us.. ;)

The Koptalk thing was nothing. They've been all right.

I'm not caving in and going back to the Squareball though. Apparently they think a Yorkshireman will win in a fight with an Australian. I disagree with that but I'm not going to bother getting involved as it's a waste of my time and just to amuse others there.

If they want to stay on a forum increasingly run by TC they can have it.

And no doubt TC will report this back....he seems to keep a track of my postings for some strange reason. So I'm just pointing out to him where he can find this information.

I have already told you who I think we will sell and the list has not changed.

It is amusing seeing how Bowyer has changed from a prime candidate for the KKK to someone to worship by some of the idiots on various LFC forums.

If you get him for anything under £10m it will be a bargain.

Keane was a potential sale on your list wasn't he? If you do sell only fringe players you're going to have no cash to bring anyone in..

Yes it is and yes it will..

I am told that DOL/PR had fringe players valued at £22m they were willing to let go....this exceeds the £15m PR says he is wanting to clear.

Bowyer was not on that list so anything we get for him is a bonus.

i have to agree there. . .i still think that bowyer is a despicable cnut, but it looks odds on that he's going to be wearing a 'pool shirt next season. . .and for as little as £7M.

i'm torn on this one. . .can admit what a good player he is, but his personality makes me want to vomit frankly. . .

It makes me laugh that you feel able to comment on his personality - you don't know him MOM.

genius.

of course i don't know him personally, i'm commenting on the footballer who takes to the pitch, not the bloke off it. for all i know he could visit OAPs and take them flowers every day after training. . .doesn't change the fact that on the pitch he comes across as a violent, arrogant, despicable cnut. . .

I am glad we have cleared up the fact that you base your opinion as to his personality on the few minutes you have seen him on a football pitch.

likewise.

once again for the slow ones at the back, he could be the loveliest bloke in the world off the pitch, yet on it he's a snidey, underhand, horrible little schit.

and i may be forced to cheer him next season. . .

Wrong again dipshit....I have seen a lot more of him than you obviously have both on and off the pitch.....and maybe that's why my opinion as to his personality differs from yours and is maybe a little more balanced.

Hypocrisy suits you.
