I wanna buy an LCD TV for the bedroom with a built in DVD player..

thinking around 24-26"...

Cant seem to find many on offer, anyone got one or can you recommend one?

Liverpool were playing away today - theres probably one or two going on the knock-off market around about now

Why should I know about small LCD TVs with built in DVD players? I wouldn't have a clue.

I like technology for what it is and what is available and what is coming, I don't follow trends on old technology and what is the best price. In fact I do not really bother about price, it has no interest to me. I'm not an audiophile or a videophile, or a Sonyphile either.

Many people think that I'm some sort of Sony adidct and will support anything they do. This is far from the case. Most of my electronics kit is Sony, but not all, and the reason it is such is that whatever I have bought from their electronics arm has proved to be excellent quality and very long lasting. I'm not into this bollocks of distrusting them and getting upset with them because of what their bought Movie and Music divisions do. They make high quality innovative (cutting edge a lot of the time) electronics with very high build quality, and that is all I care about.

I have no interest in an LCD TV that has a DVD player built into it, made by Sony or not.

I like this though: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2704,2243882,00.asp

Since most household gadgets are built to fail immediately the warranty expires why would anyone want to take the risk of having 2 gadgets bundled together? You're dooming the device when either one fails rather than halving the odds with separate and most likely cheaper single units.

It's like these mobile phones that do a dozen things you used to do with other gadgets but don't do any of them, particularly the phone part as well as the old individual gadgets did. If I need a camera, a video recorder, an mp3 player, an internet browser, a games console then I'll buy them separately to suit my needs thanks just give me a simple phone with a good battery, good reception and sound quality and maybe an alarm clock function. I may be a luddite but I object to paying more and more for inferior bundled products.

Well said. I've never understood the need to watch videos on a mobile phone, for example. There are cheaper devices out there that do the same thing better.

Sounds like someone's been accusing you of being a Sony fanboy recently.

(Which you are)

So you DONT know of any then?

Built to fail after warranty expires is complete and utter bollocks by the way...
