Manchester United representatives will today be in Rome to meet Lazio president Sergio Cragnotti to discuss about the second rate of the transfer of Jaap Stam, that Lazio still have to pay to the English club.
If Lazio fail to pay the rate before the 31st August, FIFA will be involved and that is something that both clubs would prefer to avoid.
According to rumors, Cragnotti will offer Man Utd Claudio Lopez to pay the last rate of the Jaap Stam transfer. And Ferguson should accept the player, as Man Utd are looking for a new attacker.

According to reports, Lazio and Manchester United reached an agreement yesterday for the payment of Jaap Stam's transfer.
Lazio still owe Man Utd 18 million Euro, and 20% of the amount will have to be paid before the 31st August.
The remaining 80% will be paid monthly for 10 month. Man Utd's board must first accept this solution, but the officials who yesterday were in Rome seemed to be satisfied with the solution.
Apart from it being funny how much can change in one minute, why would we turn down Lopez and instead get the money monthly for another 10 months?
