Anyone know of any leads/cables that connect your laptop to your television to display movies saved on the laptop to show on the TV?

Once you have connected the VGA cable to the TV you now have to set up the laptop to access the external display

Using the “FN” key (Function) and the “CRT/LCD” key look at the top of keyboard “F” keys

Hold down the FN key and press the CRT/LCD key once

Display will change as follows

Press once laptop display only

Press again external display only

Press again both laptop and external display

You must hold down the FN key each time you press the CRT/LCD key

Using the TV remote control input button you will need to change the input connection on the TV from the normal TV to the PC input

Most present day TV provides Plug and Play capability, meaning that the TV’s adjusts automatically to the PC settings.

Depends on the tv.
If you have a digital tv then you just need an HDMI cable, given your laptop has an HDMI output.

If you don't have a digital tv, then I think you can get a S-Video to Scart cable somewhere, though the quality is poor.

An s-video out cable will work aswell, obviously depending on the TV. But it has a scart connection for the tv. Ive found these the handiest to use, they're just a pain in the ass to find
