Lancashire v Middlesex

Lancashire are about to be relegated.

140-6 after 29 overs chasing 263 in 45 overs.

With promotion already sealed, against Essex a few days ago, in the real competition, I'm not too bothered.

Thank you for responding. I think it's disgusting that no-one on a United site is interested in Lancashire. They're probably all cockneys.

There's a couple of Lancs followers, but none ever come in here

Love Love Love

They kissed each other and promised not to fight until next week.

If anyone ever came in here you'd get a bollocking for posting about India.

I follow Lankys religiously, and we still have a great chance of avoiding relegation...

Melbourne, did you move to Aussie land from the UK, I remember your G.Chapple gag which made me think you have great knowledge of Lancashire cricket.

No, from Bangladesh.

I follow Lancashire though. Started because Neil Fairbrother was my favourite player when I was a young un. I remember he played one match for my club Abahani in the Bangladeshi league and completed his century with a big six. Superb fielder too. I was given a tape of a B&H Cup final against Worcestershire from around 1990ish as a present and that sealed it.

My mate plays for middlesex. Bowled well and got Chilton out, the fecker.

Hope Lancs beat Worcs and stay up. Amazed its got to this considering the quality of the side. Still theink there are too many all rounders in the side though

Yes well now that there's 4 of us in this thread, that comment seems a tad misfounded.

thats true...

this is probably my 5th ever post in the other sports forum...

I'm going to check this fact...

Just as in footy where United always comes first over England, I have similar feelings on Lancashire, is this normal.?

not really...

the England cricket team dont play boring tactics, have meaningless friendlies or single out Lancashire players for stick...

That's definitely odd that... I'm sure there's a few others like that around but not many

I'm certainly a Lancashire fan......

If it came to a vote, I'd vote for Lancashire to be independant of England. Lancashire is my county and I'm proud of it.... The English stole our symbol, stole our lands and now claim our people as there own.

Lancashire CCC should never be relegated from any division, like United we should be one of the power houses of there sport in this country.

So I am not the only one who think as I do, not to your extreme though Tribec... I bet there are quite a few of us with similar feelings, Lancashire always comes first.

As a matter of interest were you born in Lancashire?

Yes, I was born in this great county. My place of birth is where I reside right now. It's still in Lancashire, I don't care and have never cared for this Greater Manchester thing. When I write my postal address down I always say it's Lancashire.

I was born in Manchester, Lancs. So technically I'm a Lancastrian as well as a Manc. That said I'd hate to be called a Lancastrian but there you go..... It sounds so sheepsaggerish and backward. But anyway, yeah I'm a Lanky fan.

(it's Manchester, Greater Manchester.)

I see it this way. Aslong as you support everything to do with Manchester(Greater, if we're being pedantic), it's okay. Which you seem to do.

My mate went to school with him. Failsworth lad, where I incidentally passed my driving test. First time, I should add. But a crush on him? Bloody Hell.

I used to get stalked by four 16 year olds.... No crap. Teenage girls = :nervous:

Had some sort of a teenage crush on me. Two were my mates sisters. One 17ish one 15 I think. The other two were their mates. Used to make all sorts of excuses to visit my house. Once my mate brought them to my house......and some how they all ended up checking out my upstairs, whilst I was in the kitchen making them a brew THAT they aslked for. They knew everything about my bedroom..and even told me what they wanted from it from it for their birthday :nervous: I'd see them from my bedroom walking slowly across my house.... nearly every day, even though they had no reason at all to come that way. The nutcases even left a rose on my car! :nervous:. One of them even managed to get into my house.........whilst I was in the garage training with my mates.... looked up and it was one of them. I told her to do one...and she replied 'Rocky's got bigger muscles than you, so does Tarzan(cartoon) so there, you think think you're all that'. And buggered off really upset :D

Scary, used to picture them with knives in their hand at night, wanting to rape then kill me. :nervous:

I hate teenage girls. Really.
