Barca, on their way, are a very good team but its too young and inconsistent to win Liga this year. I think they've got a great chance in the CL though.

Just consistently amazes me that they got Alena in from Barca and he's become every bit a Getafe/Stoke/Bolton player as anyone else. Don't think any club in the world could strip the La Masia DNA out of a player and make them a rugby player.
In a season Barca have smashed Madrid twice, won one cup, smashed Bayern and multiple teams, they're still one win in eight in the league now and Bilbao could go level with points with them tomorrow. The CDR and CL are the only things they can actually win this year, being consistent across 38 games is beyond this team.
I mean, they can still win the league, RM is hardly anything great, so we can slip up too, and then, i have a hard time seeing us beating Atletico or Barca in the remaining fixtures, as we appear clueless against other top sides this season.
This might affect you in the CL but in Liga, you don't really need to beat either of Barca or Atleti to win the title. Barca are regularly slipping up and will continue to.
Much has been said about the bad record of Barcelona in the league but it must be noted that they have played a total of 8 games as locals and 12 as visitors. This means they are yet to play 11 games as locals and 7 as visitors so it is to be expected they will get a considerably better record in the remaining fixtures.
The finishing issues are recurring and given their age profile might just be something they have to work on mentally, but they've been ridiculously unlucky with their opponents finishing in a few games

Last season it was in big part him in the first half of the season, then he made up for it in the second half after the Madrid were gone beyond the horizon
This season they've just been streaky with it. One game they'll score 5 or 7 from 6 chances, the next they create 10 chances and not score. This has been an issue since late November iirc

Mbappe playing really well since a few weeks ago.
I was really starting to believe he would not ever return to being this sharp physically. Quite a way to go yet but he's been back to a WC level recently.
For some games I think he was physically not too bad but taking the wrong decisions systematically. Now he transmits way more confidence and seems especially inspired.
