La Liga 2024/25

Madrid are unmatched in terms of scumbags.

No doubt Rudiger won't get a serious punishment for that, just as they never do. Or it'll be another one of those "only applies to Copa del Rey games" bans that they love.

Better team won.

Rudiger having to be held back by his own team to stop him from assaulting the ref for giving a fair foul is hilarious.

Clever planning to earn a longer vacation, now that his season is over.

Premier league is great but a Classico is something else, so much drama ahah

Now Inter please knock Barcelona out because I felt dirty moderately rooting for them tonight.

I genuinely don't understand how everything Rudiger does gets laughed off. He's a lunatic and dangerous and he's one day going to very seriously injure someone. And if he wasn't restrained by his teammates here, he'd have straight up assaulted the ref. That's a big ban coming for him.

Never seen a player throw something at a ref before, it was close to hitting him to. he should be banned for a long time and make an example out of him.

Rudiger is pathetic. Either that or its planned by the club to scapegoat the ref. The ref should retire after this

I haven't read up on what happened now, but yes, he's a loose cannon but also an old school violent centre back. He clearly meant to injure de Bruyne in the CL final and I was amazed that City did not make a serious deal of it, a red all day long and incredibly serious challenge. When McTominay had a bit of a spat with him he absolutely bullied McTominay into fearful submission a couple of years ago. He's the kind of player you like on your side and hate when he's in the opposition, like a Pepe, a Ramos, but more crazy.

One of the greatest game I have ever seen in my life. This is why I love football. Congrats to Barcelona by the way.

Rudiger's behaviour is what you get when a team spends a whole week bullying the referee, poisoning the players with their shitty propaganda. An impossible game to referee, they should realise the game can't happen unless someone steps forward to do it.

It's one of those catch-22 situations. The worse they treat referees, the fewer talented people will choose to be referees. The fewer talented people, the worse referees will be and the more abuse they will get. It's a vicious cycle.

Btw Raphinha was so bad this game, is this his usual standard because if so, he is no ballon dor contender material

Ramos and Pepe were reckless thugs on occasion but Rudiger is scarier. He just feels so violent and ofcourse always seems to get away with it. Until now.

Apart from the Celta game, he's been a bit poor since the Brazil Argentina game. Pedri and Yamal definitely been better, imo.

I am so glad that Real lost! There's no more despicable club outside of England than Real. There are so many classless players in that Madrid squad and their sportsmanship is zero. They have the most entitled fanbase in the world and they think that the world owes them something.

Pedri made quite a few mistakes this game too, but he was great in the first half. Raphinha's performance today was bad and on top of that he seemed very selfish with 2 long ranged angled shots when he could have crossed it

Pedri is being run into the ground, honestly. Fatigue leads to these mistakes.

La Liga title (could be two)
Copa Del Rey
Euros

Not bad for a 17 year old

I think people have forgotten how much of a nutter Pepe was.

Striker goes over easily in the box, and Pepe just starts repeatedly kicking him up the arse.

I genuinely think the referee might retire after that ordeal. Something serious has to be done about the treatment of refs in general.

Barca in line for the treble. Proper team even with Lewa injured and one or two key players underperforming.

As for Madrid, it's amazing how badly they have tarnished their image this season. They need big changes.

Yeah exactly - I've always had a bit of a soft spot for them but they look like absolute clowns this season. No class at all if things aren't going their way it seems.

They've never been a classy club, tbh. They've just shown their true selves on a more global scale this season right from the Balland'or saga, to the constant whining about referees all season, and everything over the last two days. Their entitlement is quite something.
